Welcome to the aloe vera recipe section of the aloe vera benefits site. Here you will find easy recipes to introduce aloe into your diet daily. These recipes could be for not only food and bbeverages, but other aloe products as well such as, aloe juice recipes, smoothies, soaps and other recipes. But first I have to answer one of the most common questions I get about aloe vera.....
I personally love the taste of aloe vera juice, most people do. Yet for others I can't get them to try it no matter what - so for those friends, I slide aloe very into fruit juice, smoothies and other punches and beverages. Once they have tried it - they are usually sold on how easy it is to get aloe vera into your daily diet.
The aloe gel is clear, just like in the picture to the right - not green!
You want to make sure you use pure aloe gel in all the recipes on our site.
If you are lucky enough to have purchased pure aloe gel, to make the basic recipe is very simple.
Now put these in your blender or a shaker and blend. You will notice it becomes frothy, pour this into a tall glass and you have aloe vera juice - no need to spend $3 or more at your local grocer.
From this basic recipe - you can have alot of fun. Add the aloe vera gel 2 - 4 tablespoons into your favorite fruit juices, smoothies and even ice tea.
This is one of my favorites, blueberries really go well with aloe juice.
Using the basic recipe above, add 1/4 cup of blue berries (organic fresh is best) or frozen if it is not blueberries season and blend in the blender. Serve in a tall glass filled with ice and garnish with a lemon wedge.
This is spectacular on a hot afternoon to help you feel refreshed and energized.
